Descanso

This self-managed edition of 200 copies, designed by Iván Argote, offers an intimate  look into the creative process behind Descanso, a site-specific installation at the Giardini della Biennale during the 60th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia: Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere, curated by Adriano Pedrosa in 2024.

Bringing together a poetic introduction by Iván Argote, an essay by Osman Can Yerebakan originally written for Plus Magazine in April 2024, and a selection of photographs of the installation, this booklet documents Descanso in its context at the Venice Biennale, reflecting on its themes and inspirations.
